steph77 Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 Hi everybody! I would like to present you my brand new Moc It is based on a porsche 997 GT3. The model features: - 4 speed gearbox - Flat 6 factice engine with very high RPM - Opening doors bonnet and trunk - Steering wheel connected in the cockpit The red lines and color touch add dynamic effect on the car Bottom view with the organization of the flat gearbox forcing the frame around the obstacle. The frame is made with studless beams laid flat for rigidity and enhanced collaboratively by the pavilion roof 'nesting' structure The opening of the pavilion with the rear fan suggested Detailed cockpit with functional steering and the ergonomy of the gearbox And opening the front cover with endurance look for broad access. Hope you'll like it. Enjoy. Steph Quote
Balrog Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 I think it looks good for a midi scale car. Except for the wheels which are definately to small for the scale. Quote
skriblez Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 Nice moc :) Well done on all the functions :) Quote
Meatman Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 CooI model! Funny thing as I was just looking at new pics at brickshelf and notice this 997 also in Red and Black. Obviously the wheels were painted though. Quote
D3K Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 For the scale, I think it looks great! You definitely hit some of the defining aesthetics of the car spot on! Quote

rm8 Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 Steph77, great job. Was it possible to use larger 43 wheels? Quote
Rishab N Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 Nice and compact model but as said before the wheels don't match the scale Quote
timslegos Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 Both of those look great! You did well for such a small scale! tim Quote
BobSmithHello55 Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 A lot of function for such a small thing! Great! What kind of advanced mechanics? Ackerman steering, camber and caster angle, kingpin inclination? Quote
steph77 Posted October 9, 2013 Author Posted October 9, 2013 Hi everyone, I am not sure but i think that some comments are not for my Moc in this Topic! But thanks for those who said my Moc was great! Quote
rm8 Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 Thanks for sharing! I had no time yet to show some pictures on Eurobricks. It's really a great model and hits the asthetics of the real car very well. I tried to meet a little bit more the design of the RS version altough I knew that the model designed by Crowkillers is an older one as shown in the pictures below. And that's also the reason why I decided to paint the wheel covers. But I think it was worth it. @ steph77: Hopefully it's ok to post some pictures in your topic. It will be better to create new post for your model Quote
Jeff Schield Posted October 12, 2013 Posted October 12, 2013 That's a great looking car, especially for the smaller scale. Nice work. Quote
steph77 Posted October 26, 2013 Author Posted October 26, 2013 I finally came out with the video of this car. Here it is [/url]I know that the tires may be a little small but i do not have the upper scale ones. Whatever this model makes my son happy but today my house was full of a large range rage motor sounds...at 05.00 AM Quote
MrNumbskull13 Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 Awesome MOC! Looks really good. :) Quote
matelegotechnic Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 where is the building instructions? Quote
Blakbird Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 where is the building instructions? There aren't any. Most MOCs don't have building instructions, and any that do will always have a link highlighted. Quote
