Or are you calling the floor above the ground floor as 1st floor? I've never understood that convention. Here in Canada, the floor above the ground/main floor is always Floor 2.

In Europe the ground floor is usually not counted, the first one above the ground one is the 1st floor. Even in UK Engish it seems. And I guess in Singapore too, then.

In French it works well as the term used for that ("étage") has also an "upstairs" meaning: "ground" and "floor" are two different things then.

IDid it in meters since 80% of the world uses it and us crazy Americans still use the feet. Who knows maybe in a few years after the US dollar is no longer being used as the world currency because we print money to pay our debts and the US is in another recession in a year or 2 from now we will adjust to the world for our measurements.

Are you going to start pronouncing the letter 'Z' as ZED like the rest of us too, while you're at it?

Actually in Singapore its first / second floor, but I've spent far too many years in Europe so..

Whelp, I bit the bullet and ordered this set yesterday from S@H to get the double points...it was shipped today and is on it's way! Not sure if I'm going to build it right away though. I'm in the middle of moving....

I ordered it also. Once I receive it, I will own ALL of the modulars. Can not wait!

sounds a like a fun idea, but probably better to start a new topic? To keep things organized and not to clutter this topic?

That is probably a better idea!

Hi guys! I just got this awesome set and I enjoyed building it! Spent the whole night building and had to make it fast because me and my bestfriend finished it at 1:30 am! :)

Definitely worth it! :)

Bought PR three weeks ago along with PC. Started building PC within two days and finished it in three evenings while working during the day. Still haven't started on PR yet as I tend to like leaving my brand new Lego MISB for a period of time, but I'm sure I'll succumb to finally opening and building it given the total awesomeness of this set!

Just got the PC earlier this evening, and my daughter has already started the build. It was hard to stop her for bed, so I have a feeling it will be built before tomorrow afternoon.

Just finished building mine. Looks even better up close than in photos; definitely my favourite modular by far and certainly a must-have!

After several months of having mine I must admit that among all the modular buildings that Lego made, this one is the best. Not only does it have great detail on the inside of the several floors the details on the outside is what sells this set and stands out. There is so much going on in the front and the back of the building which is just great.

I put the thanksgiving polybag set in the back of the building as a secluded dinning area and it looks great.

So, after putting the set together, my wife asks me, is there a restroom for any of the floors. That got me wondering if anyone had MOD'd their PR to have a restroom? Or any other way other than just a 2x build for that matter.

So, after building this set, I started looking at how other people have displayed it with the other modulars, and it got me thinking about the window in the kitchen that is on the side of the building. This is the first set that has windows on a side that is normally hidden by another building, so does that mean that the next set, or a future set could have an open side or a courtyard that the PR kitchen window looks upon? How are you with the other modular displaying the PR in relation to that side window?
