DrJB Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 (edited) I found this liftarm02 while browsing on bricklink ... yet it does not show up in any set. The longest THIN liftarms I'm aware of are at most 1x7. Was this a prototype of some sort? I also found this one liftarm04 though it does not show in any set either Edited October 2, 2013 by DrJB Quote
Front Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 (edited) I really doubt that any prototypes from LEGO was made in that size (half width, 16 holes beam). It is simply too weak, will break too easy when a bending load is applied, even when made in the best materials LEGO use. The L 4x4 arm is not even with the cored out areas between the holes. Balrog Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 I can only think of these as custom made pieces, but not as original pieces. Quote
JopieK Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 The L 4x4 arm is not even with the cored out areas between the holes. well, I'm not sure, can be the perspective of the picture of course! Quote
