We actually spent a teatime a while ago coming up with ways to get rid of cold callers. We came up with a lot of ways. In fact, we had one 'excuse' similar to this. Then there's the 'no I'm the babysitter' one...

The worst ones are those that don't go away even when you put the phone down. :-|

Actually, we can get away with saying no on a formality. Often people get our name wrong, so we can say we're not in. Well, it's not really lying is it?
