This is my direction shifter that I'm using on my walker, this is of course only a mockup.

But is shows the basic princibel ..

As you can se on the picture it uses a simple changeover catch to chose from either the

A or B output should turn the same way or oposit from each other.

Hello efferman.

I'm already using it in my new walker to make it turn like a bulldozer.

when the A & B axels turn the same way the legs on each side walks forward or backward.

But when they turn opposit the legs walk forward and backwards at the same time making it turn.

I will see if i can upload a picture to better explain how it works.

ok, you want let it walk like this wich uses one XL per side

your idea is an interesting approach and theoretical it should work. but which gear ratio do you have or is there a mechanical blockade when turning?

for pictures you should use an external picture service like flickr or similar. the attachments are not the best thing for pictures.

Yes for this version i am. Only one M motor for driving and another for the shifter. But the next version i use a XL motor for driving it and a

M motor for the direction shifter and a M liniear actuator.
