Andy D Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 I really like these sets! I like steampunk, but I haven't taken be time to try to figure one out. I second that you should sell the instructions. Maybe open a Briclkink store and sell instructions and the parts required, I did not say sell sets as I am not sure of legal issues. No matter what you do, keep on building these great MOCs! Andy D Quote
Brickchief Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 Hi, can you give me the instruction of your minas tirith? Thanks in advance Quote
ShrikeArghast Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 Christ these are so cool -- particularly the airships. Have you placed these on cuusoo? I have a feeling the Auriga would have 10k votes in a heartbeat. Quote
Colossus Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 I'm speechless. Good thing I'm typing. The sets? Awesome. The accompanying minifigs? Awesome. This is a well-organized theme. The look you've created with both the building techniques and the bricks used is very cohesive. After building The Sea Cow, I have even more appreciation for the Steam punk theme. Thanks for the inspiration! Quote
Jared Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 I love the Cloud Cliffs Lair. Great selection of figs with it! Quote
B-Lister Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 Cool! Been wanting to build some steampunk stuff myself. Have a huge tub of bricks just begging for some MOC madness! Quote
gavralcraw Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 Yeah, I'm drooling over this steampunk stuff. I love the gun tower. But it's all great. Quote
B-Lister Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 Yup. Bought a tub of mixed parts a couple years back, lots of Adventure and Western parts in it. Might have to try my hand. Quote
SirBlake Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 You really nailed the steampunk look. From the figs to the builds, I can't imagine a better realization of that theme. I hope TLG is taking notes! Quote
Flobnomdob Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 These are genius. I love designing new sets/ themes, and these are very well done. You've fitted in just enough detailing/looks and playability (I see the handle on the airship ) and the whole idea fits perfectly. One thing though- if I was to design offical sets, I'd make a point ov evening out the number of male and female minifigs. I'd want to show that an awesome theme like this can be equally for boys and girls. I'd like to see how the airship balloons are built! It looks like there's a complex frame under those "canvasses" on the Auriga, and the balloon from the Airfield Assault. Quote
Mutant Orc Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 (edited) 'I say, jolly good show!"   Yay! I adore steampunk and this is fantastic stuff!! I would love to see these images as glossy box art with the sets all for sale! I can assure you if they were released I would buy them all!! Again, yay for steampunk!
