Wheel 88517c02 maybe good for a crawler?

First of all I am really impressed with this tyre, diameter is about the same as the powerpuller tyre. The tyre is very grippy because of the knobs. Might work well on a crawler, you could go two wide. May not look the part but... Thoughts?

On rough dirt Maybe but the rubber is very hard so it might slip on smooth surfaces.

Yeah the old Lego tyres seem to have grippy rubber, the newer types are plasticish.

i have tried this at home for myself and indoor the performance is tesame. The rubber is lees sticky but the contactpoint is smaller and there is more pressure on that point. Outside in dirt i found it was better . For indoor tr tr its worse. Its to small for it.

I'd love if there was a proper replacement for the power puller tyres.. they're impossible to buy!

Maybe the 2903 wheel with 2902 tire from set 8291 (green dirt bike) is an option, those tires got a better grip and I've seen them on some trial-trucks.

@jantjeuh. Haha I managed to get four in a bulk buy $60 and a whole bunch of other stuff, couldn't believe my luck.

@vliet. Yep those are pretty grippy, small in comparison though

Hmm, maybe I'll use these for my rockcrawler, they look great! Probably only single ones though, it will look pretty weird.
