Captain Settle Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 When I heard about this enchanted pumpkin I knew I had to go and retrieve it. It would have made a great story. So I went to the eastern half of Varlyrio to retrieve it, only to find it missing. I was able to track it to the city, where I found a woman selling it. The price is more money then I have on me at the moment, but I'm sure I can negotiate using my sword... So I traded my sword for it. In the more seedy parts of Varlyrio you always feel like you're being watched. Without minifigures. The Enchanted Pumpkin is the one with the face by the way. Thanks for looking, C&C appreciated. Lord Vladivus Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 Without a sword eh? Sounds like you're ripe for an ambush! Mwahahaaa... Nice build, I like the SNOT floor! Quote
gedren_y Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown." Nice little scene. Quote

Lord Vladivus Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 Don't think of it, enchanted pumpkins have been known to eat people. Heh. I'm an immortal half-vampire. I eat enchanted pumpkins for breakfast (well, drink, a blood and enchanted pumpkin smoothie goes down a treat). Quote
soccerkid6 Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 I think this is one of your best yet I like the brick brick courtyard and the wood work. The tan section looks a little out of place to me though, I think it might have been better to take that out and just use the other colors even though it would lose some height Quote

Duvors Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 Heh. I'm an immortal half-vampire. Nothing is immortal, for instance when faced with Vampires Enchanted Pumpkins pull out their stalks and stab the Vamp. Quote
Lord Vladivus Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 Nothing is immortal, for instance when faced with Vampires Enchanted Pumpkins pull out their stalks and stab the Vamp. Heh, this is why I wear a suit of enchanted heavy armour. Or send minions to do my dirty work. Quote
kermit Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 Nice little scene. The floor looks great. Quote
Duvors Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 Heh, this is why I wear a suit of enchanted heavy armour. Or send minions to do my dirty work. Yes, but your minions aren't Vampires are they. Quote
Lord Vladivus Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 Nope. They're zombies. Of which I have an endless supply. Quote
Duvors Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 Nope. They're zombies. Of which I have an endless supply. You know, some people would believe it a good idea to have minions that could think, you know. Quote
Lord Vladivus Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 You know, some people would believe it a good idea to have minions that could think, you know. Thinking is overrated. I'm not a fan of independent thought, they might try to overthrow me. @Captain Settle, I apologise for attempting to hijack your thread... Quote

Well yes, but if you don't send someone with them who can think then they'll head to the nearest brain, and if that brain has an Enchanted Pumpkin in the vicinity, well, remember what I said in my first comment? I control them via my enchanted chessboard. I don't want to waste my thinkers on mindless tasks. Quote
Niku Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 I like the combination of colors and the well proportioned height of the build. Good job. That minifigure face is kind of creepy. Quote
Gideon Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 Nice scene! My favourite part is the half-timber with the clever cut off windows technique, I don't know if I've seen that before? Quote
Duvors Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 I control them via my enchanted chessboard. I don't want to waste my thinkers on mindless tasks. Well, the zombies still don't have a chance, the last Enchanted Pumpkin I met had am impressive head collection. Quote
Lord Vladivus Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 Well, the zombies still don't have a chance, the last Enchanted Pumpkin I met had am impressive head collection. Good job the zombies I send are of the headless variety! Quote
Duvors Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 Good job the zombies I send are of the headless variety! You send zombies that are already dead? Real clever. Quote
Lord Vladivus Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 You send zombies that are already dead? Real clever. Well, if I meet a live zombie, I'll be sure to send him your way. Besides, my zombies are "persuaded" to join me from the elite of many another army, so they're no slouches. Quote
