Wobo Ihi Posted April 1, 2007 Posted April 1, 2007 You mean...the pirate hat? I'd assume he's wearing it because he was redbeard in life (hence the grey beard now) :-P Ah, I see. It's just that I always thought that the knights were around a couple of centuries before them pirates. ;-) Quote
Starwars4J Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 Listen both of you. I've had to delete a bunch of posts because this was going too far off topic to try to mediate. If you have a disagreement, please do it in PM. The forum is not a place for arguing over personal opinion. You're both old enough and mature enough to know how a forum is supposed to work, and it isn't like this :-/ Disagreements are fine and normal. Everyone can't have the same opinion, but that doesn't mean anyone should be harassed for their beliefs. I'm not gonna point fingers at either of you, so I'd really just appreciate you two continuing this elsewhere and sticking to being civil and nice to each other and the rest of the forum like you have so far. You two are great members, so let's try to stay on topic, okay? Thanks :-) Quote
blueandwhite Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 Sorry about that. I'll try and refrain in the future. Quote
Sir Dillon Posted April 3, 2007 Posted April 3, 2007 I think this is a decent set... Both the wall and the ship look decent, but not great. I probably won't be getting this. Quote
dariofol Posted April 5, 2007 Posted April 5, 2007 as you, the beard are a new beard like the spellbreaker beard on the 4d Movie ? it seem... Quote
Starwars4J Posted April 5, 2007 Posted April 5, 2007 as you, the beard are a new beard like the spellbreaker beard on the 4d Movie ?it seem... Hm? That picture's to small to make out a difference. It looks like the plain old regular beard in bley to me... Quote
Janus Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 So many classic LEGO touches to this set. The cave with the treasure in it, the little wooden shack on the right side, a nice looking torn sail, a pirate hat...LEGO is starting to get it. I will be purchasing this set along with the whole line. Quote
daoudbazaar Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 Do not know if anybody noticed it, but it's already on S@H : Quote
Asuka Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 Do not know if anybody noticed it, but it's already on S@H : Hello and welcome and thanks for that info too. A very neat set indeed. *y* Quote
Quarryman Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 I cannot find it!May i have a link? It's not there yet (at least not public), but the images already posted are there, which usually means it will soon show up in S@H. I did find another image though: Quote
iamded Posted June 22, 2007 Posted June 22, 2007 Wow, 4 skellies! There havn't been 4 skellies in any sets so far, unless you count the Skeleton Dragon Rider in King's Castle Siege, but he doesn't have a skellie torso. This is the only set so far with 4 full skellies. :-D *y* Quote
Vader Posted June 22, 2007 Posted June 22, 2007 Hmmm not a bad little ship, im surprised that TLC decided to do a ship in the new castle line though. Im also surprised that TLC have included four in this set but hey im not moaning :-D Quote
Quarryman Posted June 22, 2007 Posted June 22, 2007 Hmmm not a bad little ship, im surprised that TLC decided to do a ship in the new castle line though. Now.. if only we could get a crownie ship too, that would have been excellent :-D (especially if it was made with the old hulls (BSB/SES/RBR), but I don't think that's likely to happen.. ) Quote

The anchor aswell is superb, though i would of liked a more brick built one but hey you cant have everything. Quote
Shakar Posted June 22, 2007 Posted June 22, 2007 I did report those pics a few weeks ago in the main Castle 2007 topic. Still, it's nice to see that there's some more discussion about this great set. Being me skeleton biased my favourite part of the set is the ship, I love how it's got such a pirate feel, with the sail with the skull and the skeleton captain; the model has a sleek design I really love. The Crown Knights sea outpost is great as well, I love how it is modular, and thar wooden shack is just *wub* . Shakar Quote

Shakar Skeletons have always been one of the most interesting concepts that tlc has released if you ask me, but up until now i always felt that their was very little to use them for. Visually this whole line is like a breath of fresh air, i just love the mixtures as it seems to really bring the sets to life. Quote
Asuka Posted June 22, 2007 Posted June 22, 2007 Skeletons have always been one of the most interesting concepts that tlc has released So maybe you just would enjoy to have a look at your very own skeleton, Vader? Quote
Vader Posted June 22, 2007 Posted June 22, 2007 How dare you!!! Those pictures are between and my doctor...... :-P Quote
