Interesting topic. Personally, while I do appreciate epic music (Hans Zimmer!), I'm allergic to hear it being used with MOC videos and I'm trying to avoid it as much as possible. My Pagani Zonda example you have used is interesting, because I took that music track from a promotional video by the Pagani company, actually.

Still, I literally cringe whenever I see a video with like 100-pieces MOC accompanied by sooper-dooper-Earth-is-doomed Two Steps From Hell soundtrack, or a similar one.

I believe one of my decent examples of video and music going well together is this:

Of course, you can always go completely overboard with the epicness, so epic that it makes whatever it is you are filming totally epic, like so:

Tip: Slow motion helps alot. Wonder if that's why there is so much slo-mo in Michael Bay movies

I take it I need to change the music I use then, from the comments you guys have made  Too much two steps in hell :sceptic:

Although, I think this works:

There is nothing worse, then hard banging rock/metal music in Lego videos. I just turn off music and enjoy the video. The best so far is the music Sariel using in his latest reviews. Nice calm music and fits with the content.

I'm only using calm music because it's free :P If it was entirely up to me, you would keep hearing hardcore grind death metal all the time ;)
