jonwil Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 Here is a preview of my new house MOC, its some plans done in LDD. (images are too big to embed into the post) Ground floor: http://www.cncmods.net/files/ground.png Has kitchen, dining, lounge, garage, alfresco and a shed for the man of the house (who is a DIY nut) First floor: http://www.cncmods.net/files/first.png Has 2 bedrooms, bathroom plus a bridge and void over the central living space. Second floor: http://www.cncmods.net/files/second.png Has master bedroom with en-suite and some un-decided space. Roof: http://www.cncmods.net/files/roof.png Feedback on the plan (including the size of the rooms or what I could use the big empty spot on the second floor for) would be nice :) Quote
Overcold Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 Looks quite nice, on the second floor you could have a library or music room in that large space. (just an idea) I'm looking forward to the finished product. Quote
kermit Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 Looks like a good plan. Do you have any idea on how the exterior will look? Quote
jonwil Posted August 31, 2013 Author Posted August 31, 2013 (edited) The house is going to be built using white walls with black highlights (black window frames, doors, stairs and other things). Black roof too. (I suspect I will need to obtain more black roof pieces to pull it off). Floors will likely be black, white or a mixture of both (e.g. black and white tiles) Thinking of putting dormer windows and/or skylights into the roof. Also, solar panels (got a couple nice stickered ones from the City house set of a few years back). The man of the house is a carpenter/woodworker by trade and by hobby and the house will be filled with lots of wooden furniture (perfect opportunity to raid my collections of reddish brown and dark brown). Basically, he is the woodworking equivalent of a computer geek :) He drives a Ute to cart all his woodworking stuff around in. One of the people in the house (haven't decided who yet) plays the Saxophone. As for the empty space, a study of some sort (somewhere for the woman of the house to go and do whatever hobby I end up deciding she has) might work. Or a home gym. Something interesting and not normally seen. Edited August 31, 2013 by jonwil Quote
