nxtstep101 Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 Remember awhile back when I said I was making a GBC? Well here it is! I didn't work on it non-stop but built it little by little. Here is the video I made for it: Questions, comments, or constructive criticism is welcome! Quote
Doc_Brown Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 Nice job! I find it hypnotic. Did you invent those movements by yourself? I like the M motor just hanging there spinning at .55 seconds. LOL Can't say I like the music, I would perfer to hear the whiizzing of motors and clicking off balls rolling personally. Thanks for sharing tho. Quote
Andy D Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 Very nice. I find the music OK, but like Doc_Brown I would also like to hear the sounds of the GBC part of the time. Some music is OK, but some sounds of the GBC would be great also. What functions is the NXT performing besides driving one of the motors? Overall, great! Andy D Quote
EyesOnly Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 Yes GBC:s should be their own music. Nice modules. I like how small most are yet they provide much joy when watching. Quote
dr_spock Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 Nice work. Are those balls from the NXT Mindstorm 2.0 set? Quote

I agree about the music, I'm really not sure why I put music probably just out of habit. Very nice. What functions is the NXT performing besides driving one of the motors? Overall, great! Andy D It has no other function, besides driving the two motors used for that one module. Thanks! No, actually they are the balls from my Chinese checkers game. Quote

Does anyone know which part was used in that module. While i would probably end up with a third party solution anyway it would still be nice to know what part to use if i wanted to build the original. Quote

I don't recall ever coming across a part like that... But I will look into it. Quote
