oo7 Posted March 19, 2007 Author Posted March 19, 2007 Ah, great, thank you for that link! *y* My pleasure, Mr. Asuka. From the movie: "Snakes on a Plane" Never watched it. Oh well. Once I'm done with my Pirate Movie, I hope to work on some WWII MOCs and possibly write something. There's a big snake in the plane, Jock! Aw, that's just my pet snake Reggie. I hate snakes, Jock! I hate 'em! Come on, show a little backbone, will ya? Hopefully that terrible pun will attract Admiral 4j to this thread..... X-D Ooh, ahh, what a sharp and professional build! I Quote

Come on, show a little backbone, will ya? Aha! a movie about a snake on a plane that is actually good X-D Hopefully that terrible pun will attract Admiral 4j to this thread..... X-D I was wondering if I should have mentioned those flaps in the review. I wonder how many picked up on that. I liked the flaps as well. The moc looks very well done and I like the appearance of it better than the toy. Aside from the studs and propeller it could be mistaken for a fairly precise model. Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 Excellent airplane 007. I really like the color scheme. Nice use of the emblem pieces and the overall design. Quote

Are you refering to the four blades instead of two, or the squarness of the blades? Excellent airplane 007. I really like the color scheme. Nice use of the emblem pieces and the overall design. Thank you for the generous feedback, Mr. Brickster. I'm still truley surprised to how many people like the colors..... *check* Now I just need Brick Miner's....... :-D Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 I'm still truley surprised to how many people like the colors..... Yes, I really like the use of the black and yellow colors. Wasn't there an airline exclusive similar? Perhaps that was brown and yellow if I remember correctly. Now I just need Brick Miner's....... Not sure what you mean? Quote
Brainbox Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 Not sure what you mean? Something about the colours I think. Quote

It was a joke, probably badly executed. Forget it. Quote

Sir Dillon Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 Hey, very nice, oo7. WW1 is one of my favourite history subjects, especially the planes, so it's cool to see this creation. Though not necessarily accurate, you've done a pretty good job coordinating the colours... plus it looks cool. There are a few things that look like they should be in a different colour (the land gear, etc.) but I'm assuming that's because you didn't have it in any better colour. My favorite part is easily your use of those large slope pieces on the sides of the plane. Not only is it a very creative use of the piece, but it looks great, and gives it that sleek look that the planes had. Do you plan on making any more? Keep up the good work! :-) Quote

Yes, I only had two of those types of plate in brown, but now since I've bought the new AT-ST, that can be fixed. Do you plan on making any more? Maybe not a plane, but I might make some other WWI/WWII MOCs in the future. First I have to post the rest of my Hoth pictures. ;-) Quote
