RCX 1.0 Brick with USB tower?

I read 'mixed' opinions out there ... anyone successful at using the RCX 1.0 brick with the USB tower (that came with the RCX 2.0) ? Also, would it be possible to use the USB tower with more than one RCX brick or are those somehow 'paired' ?

Somehow i doubt there will be any problem. The 1.0 if i remember correctly came with a charge jack, at least some versions but other than that i think it's the same thing just newer software. Might need a firmware upgrade but that is not hard.

Thank you. I got both 1.0 and 2.0 bricks to work with a USB tower. One word of caution though, whenever you're dong a firmware update, make sure only ONE RCX is ON, and others are off. Else they'll all pick up the signal, and then end up aborting and the computer gets 'confused'.
