SalvoBrick Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 While waiting the new city set of a car transporter (which I suspect I won't like because it could be 8-wide) I did my own MOC version: It perfectly fits four cars chosen randomly from my diorama As usual I only used spare bricks :) That's how it works: That's all! :) Quote
eurotrash Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 Good use of SNOT 1 x 4 Fences for the top deck. Nicely done. Quote
Aussie BJ Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 Nice one SB. All it needs is a redneck driver and a few chains to tie down the cars. Quote
lightningtiger Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 Excellent work 'SalvoBrick'.....now you don't have to wait till next year to have a car carrier in your town eh ? You need to have a car lot or dealership in your town to go with this........Brick On Truck On 'SalvoBrick' ! Quote
antp Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 Nice work. Only downside is that it looks a little high, maybe you could reduce the height of the trailer by inverting cars on top & bottom ? :D Quote
CityBuilder Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 That's pretty impressive for something you made out of spare bricks (well its impressive either way)! But whoever said the 2014 city vehicles would be 8 and 6 bricks wide I think was including the fenders and wheels which stick out a fair amount. I hope that's what he did because if they are bigger they won't fit with anything. Quote
peterab Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 That's a really nice car carrier and your clever use of the fences might have solved a problem I'm having building a car carrier train carriage. Quote
paul_delahaye Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 (which I suspect I won't like because it could be 8-wide) The cab is certainly only 6 wide on the new car transporter, the transporter bit is only just over 6 wide, Quote
kermit Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 I like how you were able to make the ramps of the trailer work so very simple but effective. Quote
