Just experimenting with different scales for my TIE fighter. Built in LDD, rendered with POV-Ray.

I think you're pushing the limits of this hinge technique for the edges of the wings — I went with tubing for my advent TIE that was twice as big — but it doesn't look too bad, just a little bulky. Nice work.

By the way, looking at the little bit of highlight that's been selected and deleted in the hinge at the top-right corner of the right wing, and at the jagged edges, it looks like you cut out the white background. You can render in LDD2PovRay with a transparent background so you don't have to do that.

Very nice! I like your solution for the arms that attach the cockpit to the wings! I wish I had thought of that on mine. I think mine are to long. And the wings look great! :thumbup:
