squizz Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 Gidday all, i have been following a few topics envovling people reverse enginering technic models. I'm interested to know if anyone can give me some hints or procedures that they follow to do this? Thanks in advance, Pete. Quote
prateek Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 I don't usually reverse engineer Technic, but I think tips for System can also be applied to Technic. First, you need to find as many angles as you can of the model. You also want to look at any techniques that catch your eye, and try and visualize how they work. I find it easier to break the build down into smaller bits, and examine each bit separately and then put it all together. I hope this helps, and good luck Quote
Technyk32231 Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 Look at the photos of the model, and see how many details you can see in each photo. First, I would look for major things like frame rails and studless frames. Once you have those in place, you can probably figure out what connects to them and where and how, then repeat that process until you have a finished model. Quote
JohannesESTONIA Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 I reverse engineered 42005 set. It was my first try in this thing and I just tried and tried until I got it. Quote
Polo-Freak Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 I build now Nathanael Kuipers Hot Rod in this reverse technic. I have only the Pictures of his webside, but it's fun, zoom in and out, look out of liftarms and Color of axles and Pins that's simple Quote
