my son is crazy about this train, he wants me to try and copy it (not looking forward to do that). But if I do I'm not going to do a straight copy, I was thinking about what I said earlier in my question (placing 2 PF medium motors vertical to power it) and I think I might make that work, though it'll take alot of try and error to get there.
