2014 Friends Sets - Rumours and Discussion

Brickset has a finalized picture of the Tiger's Beautiful Temple.

I wonder where else we will see those new golden ornaments and bamboo straws, because they surely weren't created only for this minuscule set.

We also get an illustrated look on the penguin and the second turtle (purple?!) on the pic.

The golden ornaments are used in the Disney Princesses line, and in pink for ice cream parts! Also, the bamboo parts are also in some Disney sets along with some of the farm-related Friends sets.

And here's the Penguin set:

Turtle's Paradise is below. Not entirely accurate in the area by the tree. Kind of hard to tell, even with the big images I have.

I'll upload more when I'm done making them.

I've seen it, too. It has a little cove, and a straight slide made out of a 2x6 plate and some tiles.

I like the new golden ornament, and the pink ones are a nice addition to ice-cream variety. The new bamboo/greenery would look great in some less tended green areas, as undergrowth.

That looks like a printed head piece for the pineapple.

Cute set. The one piece that stands out for me is the printed pineapple, though I would have expected it on a cylinder rather than a head - it would go better with standard minifigs like that. Otherwise not really interested, same as the animal sets.

The set is Friendly cute, and I'm very likely to get one. The large glass surface work well to reveal the inside of the bar, and extra fruit is always good. I love that a red apple is included, it haven't been available in sets for ages. We're getting a new Friend, Naya, and a silver (!) round ornament. I only wish they'd used flower designs from the first round of Friends, those are much nicer than the one used.

I want that Juice Bar!!!!!!!!!!!! Forget the fact that it's a friends set, the parts on it are perfect and it feels just the same like a city set. Not to mention it fits in a south Florida atmosphere. (In case anyone doesn't know me I'm a dude)

Even if Juice bar is not as good this year Bakery I still adore it. Love all the pieces- delicious colors, printed (hopefully) slices of citruses, pineaple and my favorites- new icecream piece in silver and red apple!

I will use all the pieces to beef up my lovely bakery anyway! :D

It isn't an ice cream piece in silver. It's the ornamental piece just like in the tiger set posted earlier.

Anyway, great set. Will definitely pick it up. I'd love more red apples too.

That's... very bright, but it's lovely set and a worthy successor to the Café of the very first wave. The half dome piece turns out to be a very versatile piece and it looks great used on the seats.

Now that's a wonderful and colourful set.....might have to start collecting these again !

All those parts in those bright colours.....next year we should see lots of colourful MOCs containing those parts.
