monsinjor Posted August 10, 2013 Posted August 10, 2013 (edited) Hello Here's something from yesterday.... I don't have much alien or space stuff but I found it interesting to build it. Alien Lab - Alien processing Here you can see the Lab: Here they scan it first, in this case a human: Here they do some experiments with big laser unit on wild alien: And here is the Draining units where they suck all the life forms from species, in this case a human and one another alien That's all folks. Hope you like it. Enjoy! Edited August 10, 2013 by monsinjor Quote
Mutant Orc Posted August 10, 2013 Posted August 10, 2013 i've always tried to build stuff like this and failed- this is great. what do they drain the life for? Quote
monsinjor Posted August 10, 2013 Author Posted August 10, 2013 Thanks Mutant Orc. Why... well, for cosmetics :D Quote
Big Sal Posted August 10, 2013 Posted August 10, 2013 I really like this, especially the darker trans green paths running around. The way it has separate free standing sections reminds me of official sets, but there aren't many official sets that are this cool Quote
Mutant Orc Posted August 10, 2013 Posted August 10, 2013 you should make a small video with these guys advertising the "cosmetics"!! Quote
Esurient Posted August 10, 2013 Posted August 10, 2013 Great job on the MOC! I like the use of neon green parts and how you designed your triple laser guns! Quote
AlmightyArjen Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 I like your imagination and the Lego creation that has come from it, really cool! Quote
madjelly Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 Nice work! Brings back memories of x-com. Quote
eurotrash Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 Why... well, for cosmetics Cosmetics? Uhuh.... right Seriously though that three-headed Laser is spot on. Quote
Amset-Rah Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 Part of me wish they actually used something like this in the Alien Conquest series, a sort of brain harvesting station, but of course that might be a little violent for Lego. I like this, it reminds me of some of the mocs I used to build as a kid (I was obsessed with building labs for my space people), even down to the piece selection (Like those octagonal windscreens as specimen chambers or wires). Thanks for giving me a largely unintentional nostalgia trip. Quote
projectINO Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 This set has a really great aesthetic to it. The gray/green is a pretty rare combination but fits it so great. Good work! Quote
