Kumbbl Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 Not really a technic model / MOC but nevertheless and overall the best "C-Model" i have ever seen - i post it here because Nathanael Kuipers is well known here as a very good technic MOCer and C-Model-designer - just another side of him which shows his full genius - my full admiration for this: http://rebrickable.c...099-transformer (contains detailed photo BI) A real transformer between a jet and a roboter... you must have build this to see how clever and brilliant this has been designed...  In addition this would be also an idea for a great technic set: a transformer which performs its transformation powered by PF... this would be something completely new and would disrupt this endless and by now boring series of always the same construction vehicles... 1974 Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 Nice model, but more of a Creator type of set. Anyway, it didn't look too hot last time TLG tried Quote
Kumbbl Posted August 4, 2013 Author Posted August 4, 2013 you are right - i know this set but first this it almost 25 years old and second it is quite mediocre - i'm sure TLG is able to do such a transformer much much better - especially with all these modern parts available nowadays.. Quote
EyesOnly Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 PF might be difficult but a transformer would be nice and certainly possible. 8852 might not be beautiful but at least it's more of a transformer than kreo. Quote
1974 Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 'Transformers' also carry an IP license, which currently belong to some knock off company. I'm not sure just how a generic robot/vehicle (no pun intended!) will stand up in court .. don't think TLG will touch this with a ten foot pole, imho that is Quote
EyesOnly Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 I could see it happening for creator or maybe even an actual licence. But it would be more like city and not like technic. Quote
