Finding out the cost to build a lego model through bricklink?

I thought bricklink had an option to price out an inventory for models but I can't seem to find it...

In other words- If you want to build a model from scratch you could search a model and it would find all the pieces from different stores and show the cost of buying all the pieces to build the model.

Does such a thing exist or have I gone insane?

I can't comment on your sanity, but you might follow this trail in BL

Wanted->Part Set <enter Set Number>... Create a Wanted List.... Then ->By Shop

It might not be exactly what you want, but close enough

Go to Rebrickable.com, and search for the set you want. Click on it, and it will take you to an inventory page. Right above the parts inventory is a chart that tells you what sellers have the most parts. On the bottom right there is an add to bricklink wanted list link, click on it and it will create a window. Wait a while, and the inventory of your set will appear in XML format. Click on the BL mass upload link on top and in that window paste the list into the text box, then verify and add them.
