UniqueBuilder Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 That's just awesome! I like how they have used the 1 x 1 x 6 cylinders in the building, and the brick-built platform. :-D It will be a great addition to my town *sweet* Quote
Minifig Lecturer Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 Not impressive IMO but with 4 of these sets a good station could be made. Nice to see lots of grey boards. Good pic of the set. Quote
simonwillems Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 Nicely detailed little building, with realistic features (no bagage-trikes or that kind of stupid things...) I'll buy it when it's not too expensive, although my city lacks any trains, the monorail will do just fine. :-) Quote
Optimax X Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 Nice looking set, thanks for the news legomilk. Where do you get all of these new set news and pictures from? Quote
exo attack Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 Thats Lego2000. Thanks for the pic, I like the yellow beams. I also like the little Push-pull maintenance train thing, Its like the one in the advent calendar. I also like th cargo box in the luggage trolley. Quote
Commander Wolf Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 I love how this set includes that cute little handcar... a minor detail, but it totally makes the set for me. Quote
casewindu Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 I love how this set includes that cute little handcar... a minor detail, but it totally makes the set for me. you could also get that in the 06 christmas calander! :-D real cute station here i think! :-D Quote
phoinix Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 5 minifigs in a 35 euro set and not a single girl! shame! the station looks very nicely done.. it looks like it belongs more to a town than a city! finally lego is bringing back the classics! Quote
Zaktan of the Shadows Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 Sweet! I'll probably get this for my train. ;-) -ZotS Quote
Zarkan Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 The first thing I thought when I saw this set: Yellow square bottom pillars! *sweet* But overal, this set is awesome! It's not as impressive as the new gas station or some of the other 2007 City sets, but it's very detailed and looks modern and sofisticated. I think even general City dislikers will like this one (as proven by Calvin's comment ;-) ). Quote
Mike F Posted March 10, 2007 Posted March 10, 2007 Those carts that go on the track(what do you call them??)are really small and don't have room for 2 people. I got one in the 06 advent calendar and modded it by making the bottom plate longer and taller so it could fit two people. Quote
Hobbes Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 I still don't like it. IMHO it's merely a platform. A station has to be bigger. This one doesn't even have a waiting room or the hint of a hall. The design is nice and reminds me of 4554 (and is probably quite a good addition) but as a stand alone station is cr... not that good... Quote

I like it, it will malke a nice addition to my current idillyc mountain village (if it survives until this set comes out!),but I agree with hobbes that for a "city" station it is way to small especially considering the size of the vehicles these days. It's like the trains are designed by another team then the city line Quote
Hobbes Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 I like it, it will malke a nice addition to my current idillyc mountain village (if it survives until this set comes out!), If your village looks like in the pics about your house it'll fit perfectly :-) It's like the trains are designed by another team then the city line That might even be true. They sell it as a different theme, too... Quote
Dark Brick Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 I kind of like it, although like Hobbes has mentioned, it is not the type of station for a spraling city that hustles and bustles. This station is more like one that is near a farming community or some other small town that may be a stop for goods and services. It is definitely cute otherwise, but I do agree with the other poster, where are the women?! Lack of women has led me to make up my own. I may not buy it, due to price or if it does not fit my future layout. DB Quote
