Lego Joust multiple's of this set

Has anyone bought multiples of The LEGO 10223 http://shop.lego.com...oms-Joust-10223 and put them together? I see that the gatehouses look like they go together nicely on the back of the box. Was looking for anyone with some experience on this and their thoughts. I think the set is amazing and I know it is about to go out of production and was thinking about picking either 1 or 3 up to try to make a big arena for jousting together.

*Edit* I just bought the 3 sets so I will post some pictures of them all together with my first set on how it looks. Going to be short on minifigs till I can catch some chess sets on discount.

When you say that it's about to go out of production, have you heard something official, or are you supposing that just because its been out for over a year?

Went by an official LEGO Store today in Houston, TX and they said they were not going to be getting any more of those in because they are no longer in production according to the employee I spoke with.

I guess my question was more along the lines of if I used 4 entrances to create a king of stadium would it look ok without having it double on each side. Looking more for someone's experience if it would be better to go with a single entrance or multiple entrances because I am thinking about trying my hand in mocking but still a bit short on bricks for that.

Just bought 3 more of this set so I will get this page updated with pictures if anyone else was interestead after I get them all assembled.

Hmm..if what that employee said is true, that's a bit of a bummer. I was planning on buying another but I have other sets to buy before it. I'd be interested to see what you come up with.

Talked to a different employee at the other mall I shop at closer to my house (made a long lunch run), and they told me the scheduled end of release was january. Stores will not be ordering it anymore but it will continue to be available online till then. Hopefully. Depends if they sell out online.

Well, officially, if it is going to be discontinued they will put it up on the retiring soon page. I would imagine it would be nearing its end only because it will be 2 years come this January and a lot of those D2C sets go away at about the 2 year mark. I didn't pick one up, although I liked it. I just grabbed the few figures/pieces I wanted from bricklink and called it good.

I'm going to buy it. Not sure why I haven't pulled the trigger yet. You have to love the level of detail and the unique minifigs are really nice.

I bought 2 of them when they first came out so I could combine them . This set is one of my favorite castle sets of all time! It would definitely be in my top 10 sets. They look great combined and even better if you set up a scene with the rest of the Kingdoms sets to compliment it.

I agree they are awesome I did buy 4 and set them up. Now i am very disapointed in the castle because its not as cool as this.
