Inside a large Power Miners rock monster

Hello Eurobricks,

I recently purchased an used 8709 Underground Mining Station set. The Geolix minifig however, seems to have some loose parts in both arms because there is a rattling sound everytime I play with it. Does anyone have any pictures on what the arm parts look like inside or instructions on how I can break them open? Any reply would be very much appreciated.

I think the ratting sound is supposed to be there, it is just a way to fix the arms in certain positions.

Thank you, but it wasnt quite what I'm looking for. The rattling sound comes from inside the arm piece itself. The body is perfectly fine. I know that the rattling sound isnt suposed to be there because I have the Tremorox and Eruptorr figures, and they dont have the rattling sound.

I don't think the arms were meant to be opened. It might be possible to break them open along the mold line that seems to be going from the side of the index finger up to the shoulder, but I don't recommend doing that if you intend to put it back together afterwards. I'd say just try to ignore the noise and leave it as it is.
