Candia Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 Hello This is my last little moc, a medieval house for rookies. Having built the wooden structure, I wanted the installation of torchie is evolving over time. My goal is that this can be handled and evolutionary exposure at younger visitors. Captain Settle Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 I love the way it can be taken apart, but I don't like the windows on the finished model. They look too modern. Quote
Esurient Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 Love the scaffolding! Looks easy to assemble too! Quote
JopieK Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 Love the scaffolding! Looks easy to assemble too! I think the entrance to the 'bierkeller' is disguised though, I mean, who would need a scaffold built (Fachwerk) house for other purposes than to store German white beer ;) @captain settle: the windows like that occur in real houses though: Fachwerk-und-Backstein-a18528479.jpg Quote
soccerkid6 Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 Excellent build! You did a very good job showing the different phases of the house, I especially like the rafters Quote
eurotrash Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 I like the uneven brickwork and the occasional defect in the side walls, but maybe the roof looks too clean and perfect in comparison. Perhaps you could scuzzy it up a bit by making the tiles more uneven. Interesting idea and nicely executed. Well done! Thanks for sharing it with us. Quote
Trance89 Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 I like the idea and the build. I have to agree with "Captain Settle" on the widows though. They are also too small in my opinion. It's not really bothering though. Quote
pogie Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 Great job, looks like a real timber frame when you have the roof boards and plaster infill taken out. Quote
Xcod119 Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 It's a nice little house, a few more would make a good village Quote
