Sebeus I Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 (edited) A new aquanaut submarine, I tried to stick to the typical style of the aquanaut theme. Explorer sub along with the Corvette (posted last month). The cockpit: A bit cramped but it works. An interior shot: I hope you like it, more pictures can be found at my Brickshelf Folder. Or check out my other submarine . Edited July 22, 2013 by Sebeus I Quote
Csacsa234 Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 I'm really keen on for aqua themes and you captured the aquanaut feeling very well. I like this submarine more than any of the officials from the theme. Quote

Thanks, it was my goal to make a submarine superior to the official ones but it's not entirely succesfull, the Aquanaut Explorer Sub is still considerably bigger. So I might make it a bit longer, I'm not so happy with the mid section anyway . Quote
TheLegoDr Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 Great addition to the aquanaut series. I loved that as a kid, but haven't thought much about them in a really long time. Good idea trying to resurrect the style. You did a great job with it. I should look into my old sets. Quote
Esurient Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 Great work on the aquanaut! I like how it can fit 3 minifigures in it and it doesn't feel cramped at all IMO Quote
Jon_Solo Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 The cockpit is very cool. I like that the sub has a lot of glass but not too much as to weaken the structure. Quote
