pzh2000 Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 thanks guys :) one of these days i'll edit and post a new video where i'll sacrify some torque for speed using a 1:1 gearing (if it can handle it xD) hmmm it's strange man...i've created an A4 with 150dpi, wich is not the best file you can have, but it should come out quite nice....oh maybe i know what's wrong with that....probably it's the jpg conversion....tell me wich one do you want and i'll send you the psd file :) yeh,i'm still a rookie, and learning how to bulid technik MOC I used your template to creat as follow: Quote
piterx Posted July 26, 2013 Author Posted July 26, 2013 (edited) I made a side by side ATV with two buggy motors. I used the same tires and used 3:1 gearing. It hauled. It was not as polished as yours and was only two wheel drive. I intend on making one of your versions and integrating the two buggy motors and then I will see how to downsize it using the extreme cruiser tires. i've just watched your video and i have to say that it works really good to be a RWD! i'll provide insttructions or ldraw file as soon as i can....i really can't wait to see some good modifications :P Congrats on being blogged! http://thelegocarblog.com/ yeh,i'm still a rookie, and learning how to bulid technik MOC I used your template to creat as follow: that's cool but did you downres it when you saved it? i can't say exactly where's the problem with that because there could be many.....maybe i can just make one for you and send it to your email so we can check :) send me a pm with your email and we'll see ! piterx Posted August 1, 2013 Author Posted August 1, 2013 hey guys! i took the 2xl version to the seaside! it's been really funny until a wave took sand between gears causing the model to get stuck XD im working on the instructions too...but if you have plans to build it and bring it to the beach, don't go mess with waves as i did XD Quote
MrNumbskull13 Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 Awesome!!! Needs a working steering wheel though. :p Quote
Doc_Brown Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 OMG!!! that final wave! Man I felt for you. Nasty salt water. Great vid, and thanks for "sacrificing" your model. It looks really good on the beach. Hope its clean now. Quote
Junpei Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 (edited) I think this would make a great lego set, very nice and simple. Just wondering, what are the two a-arms on top for? Oh nevermind, sorry for the stupid, they're for the shock absorbers. Edited August 2, 2013 by TwentyLeggedHen Quote

piterx Posted July 30, 2014 Author Posted July 30, 2014 here's the direct link :) it's not really an instruction book....it is just the model on Ldraw, but it's tidy, it has groups, so you can just remake it from that https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/iwxp0zxmiukccnm/Lego%20Polaris%204x4%20by%20piterx.rar?token_hash=AAHVgvqSzDd6KQlpD7COYeyw0E92j_3p8Ei5XCPHfK3MNA&dl=1 Quote
