Hun Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 I've just begun reading Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, and I couldn't help noticing the recurring theme of skeleton horses with wings that only a select few can see. (up to about the 200th page in the book, anyway) As far as I know, the movie based on the book is in production at the moment. We all know that skeleton horses will finally make their debut in 2007 Castle sets, although pictures of prototypes have been around for some 3+ years. My speculation: does this mean that there might be a HP set, related to the new movie, with skeleton horses in it? Could this possibly help make the business case for producing the skeleton horses (i.e. the opportunity to use them in a popular franchised theme as well as Castle)?
Hun Posted March 6, 2007 Author Posted March 6, 2007 ...My speculation: does this mean that there might be a HP set, related to the new movie, with skeleton horses in it?... ...and then I saw the pics for set 5378 and realized that I've just made a fool of myself... :-D :-D :-D
Dfenz Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 Hi There are some pictures floating around of the new Harry Potter castle set coming out this year. If I recollect correctly there are 2 of those skeleton horses present in the set (I believe they are called thestrals or something similar). David oops - missed the earlier reply - sorry
Starwars4J Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 Yup, as you mentioned we've seen this in the pics. No worries though, I've had days like that too :-P I'll close this then, and let further discussion about it go on in the HP topic
