Sandy Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 Since she had nothing better to do, Ellaria followed Arthur and Nerwen to the shops. She made a mental note of the dwarf standing still, but she was just secretly glad that they would be spared of Throlar's erratic behavior for the time being. "Are you coming?" Ellaria asked Ahvialyn. Quote

Chromeknight Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 Nerwen counted heads. Arthur, Alexander, Ellaria. She'd heard Boomingham mumble something about the knights. The dwarf. Again. Last time she had seen him, he was fully healed and nothing was affecting him. She shrugged. It would sort itself out. Meanwhile, having remained at the spot where the Warlord fell, discussing details with the Hoplite an elf approached Lady Calaryl and spoke quietly in her ear. Her eyes narrowed as she looked at the prone form of the dwarf. Baelanith? she said. Her fingers flicked in command and two elves bore him away to the keep. Quote

Zepher Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 "Thank you! You ought to set up shop in Eubric, you could outbid our local chappo." Boomingham bows in thanks and, upon spotting the rest of his party walking around, raises his hand above his head in greeting. "Nerwen! Ellaria!" He makes his way towards them. "Are you prepared to go home? I could use a drink, for one." Quote
Chromeknight Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 I believe I am ready. Though our Mage is keen to use his key on the locked warehouse Ellaria mentioned. Also, we should find our Amabassador. Have you seen him? Quote
Flipz Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 Arthur moves to the R'kilf Potion Co.. "Might as well check while we're here." Quote
Chromeknight Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 (edited) Tholar hears a slow clapping. Inventive. said Lady Calaryl. You are here because I am informed you are responsible for the harm dealt to one of my men. She raises a hand. Spare me your tedious and predictable denials. You have been positively identified. You have harmed one of mine. Your life is forfeit. Have no doubt I could take it now myself if I so chose. But you may yet be useful and repay the debt in another way. Sometime in your career at Heroica you will have the opportunity to gain favour with House Shadeux, the employers of Sir Shawe. Take that opportunity. Then send word to me. You will be asked to use that good reputation to deliver something to them for me. And then I will count you free of obligation. Do we have an understanding Master Wineghilm? Calaryl waited patiently for his response, the armoured knights flanking her only emphasising Throlar's lack of options other than speech. Edited November 21, 2013 by Chromeknight Quote
Sandy Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 I believe I am ready. Though our Mage is keen to use his key on the locked warehouse Ellaria mentioned. "Oh yes, I almost forgot about it! Maybe there's something inside that will help the villagers rebuild the damages done by the raiders", Ellaria says. She's unsure if they have indeed done all they can for the villagers yet, but then again, she also knows that the people must take fate to their own hands from now on. "Once that is done, I am ready to depart. I hope things will look up for these people now." Quote
Duvors Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 Throlar kneels, "My Lady," he said, "before the battle I placed my life at your command, If my life is forfeit, then it is your right to take it. I do not think I would have denied anything you told me so long as it was true, in fact, I was meaning to feel you myself, that and more... But you feel I may preform some service to you, if that is so I will do this thing that you tell me. I have a debt to this village, and I would die to see it repaid." Quote
Chromeknight Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 (edited) It seems you have finally learned diplomacy Ambassador. So be it. A subtle hand signal dismisses the guards, Lady Calaryl herself steps clear of the doorway You are free to go and rejoin the others. I believe they went to the marketplace. Keep your word Naugr. Farewell. Edited November 21, 2013 by Chromeknight Quote
Chromeknight Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 Nerwen smiled at the young Druid. So we have our plan. Potion shop, warehouse then back to brobric to report. Hopefully we shall not need to spend another night here. Quote
Flipz Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 "Indeed. It has been a long few days, but I see not a need to spend longer--it is merely a brief browsing through wares before a swift journey home." Quote
