paostmo Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 Hey all! Here is my latest MOC. Apologies for the poor photography (especially on the 3rd floor). The always smooth Dick Grayson woos his newest lady friend after a long days work for the Bludhaven police dept. Getting a bit more comfortable on the couch, Dick shows off his gymnastic medals. Dick heads upstairs to prepare dinner. As his date awaits in the bedroom... However, Dick, who is always the gentleman, sends his date home at a reasonable hour with a full belly and a kiss on the cheek. As the skies become darker, Dick heads upstairs... ...Slides open his false wall... ... and gears up... ... And heads into the night to continue his tireless war on crime as Robin The Boy Wonder; because this growing city is a city worth fighting for! Thanks for looking! C&C welcome and appreciated! Quote
LEGO Guy Bri Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 Very nice house paostmo! Love the work inside and out. The false wall is a cool addition Quote
TheLegoDr Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 Neat idea. The false wall is brilliant and very fitting. Although I'd assume Robin would have a room at the Batcave also (similar to Batman Forever), just so he could leave with Batman as soon as possible. Either way, it's nice to see him being such a gentleman. Keep up the great work! There are a lot of nice houses on that street! Quote
Kristel Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 Nice facade! My favourite parts are the gardens out the front and back, the wood panelling in the lounge and the wardrobe in the bedroom. The street scene in the last shot looks fantastic. Quote
Legogal Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 Nice clean design with excellent details make this a house that catches ones eye! Flowerbeds liven it up, and furniture fits well. Like the look of all of your other buildings, too! Quote
eurotrash Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 With the handcuffs in a secret room I was expecting the story to take a completely different turn. But I really like the interior - the panelling and furniture are very well done. Quote
Kivi Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 Cute little house with nice colour combination on the facade. It makes a wonderful street with the rest of your buildings. The interior is also great, especially the top floor is interesting. Quote
lightningtiger Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 Excellent design 'paostmo'......AWESOME interior too.....I really like the living room. Brick On 'paostmo' ! Quote
timmyc1983 Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 Ahaha, very cool, love the hidden room, but I think my favourite part of the house is the bottom floor. I love the living room with the different levels, very well done with such limited space! In fact the whole building is very well done being only 16 wide! And I also love the stained glass above the window on the ground floor too, great touch! Fantastic modular and happy building Quote
Redhead1982 Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 The color combination of lbg and dark orange looks great. I'd add more color to the first floor, it looks to grey. The second floor has lovely detailing and the roof window is nice. The interiors is lovely as well, I like how you included all the essentials, including a secret room. Quote
