This is one of those cars that had been on my list for a long time. It's also probably the most difficult one I've made till now

Hoexbroe's version was quite inspiring, it just think it needed some more red. The red mudgaurds are cut, but I will exchange them for the new short version, as soon as I get some in red. It also needs some Batman logo stickers on the sides.

Enough talking, I give you the 1955 Ford Futura, aka the Batmobile:

Tennenenenene Batman! And boy wonder (aka Robin) of course:

So there you have it, off to saving Gotham city in style again.

I hope you like the model, feedback is more then welcome.

Thank you for watching!

Fantastic job! I've always wanted this one to be released as an official set, but I doubt any official one would beat yours.

And yes, flesh legs for Robin would be the cherry on the icing :D

Great job indeed! Very fitting. I love the classic Batman. I wish I had that old Robin to go with it.

I may have to try my hand at this sometime. You've nailed it!

WOW!

How could I have missed this one?! One of the better 1966 batmobiles build... Love the 'lights'. That works actually pretty good. The tubes used on the fins for red accent lines is just genious. But you've done great on all the details. Not completely sure about the windscreens though, but overall... It'll be very hard to beat this build in minifigscale. Well done!
