agoodfella77 Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 (edited) In anticipation of the upcoming Wolverine film, here is Silver Samurai. The idea for this build came from a fellow Flickr user. I added a number of customizations, but nevertheless, here you go: Here is a recreation of a screenshot from the upcoming film (not 100% sure this scene will be in the final cut): For those who aren't familiar with Silver Samurai: http://marvel.com/universe/Silver_Samurai Edited July 6, 2013 by agoodfella Quote
OrcSan Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 Very interesting... Maybe they will release a Wolverine set based on the movie soon :) Quote
agoodfella77 Posted July 6, 2013 Author Posted July 6, 2013 (edited) Very interesting... Maybe they will release a Wolverine set based on the movie soon :) Yeah, I've been very disappointed with the lack of X-Men related sets (only the Wolverine Chopper Showdown) as yet. Would love to see some larger sets (X-Mansion, Blackbird, Danger Room) and some overdue minifigs (Cyclops, Prof. X, Colossus, Storm, Rogue, Nightcrawler and of course some baddies, Juggernaut, Sabretooth, Dark Phoenix, Apocalypse..) Hobbestimus Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 I love how you did the helmet. Will that piece just clip in as-is or did you have it carve it down any? Quote
agoodfella77 Posted July 8, 2013 Author Posted July 8, 2013 I love how you did the helmet. Will that piece just clip in as-is or did you have it carve it down any? Thanks. The piece (standard Clone Trooper visor) will clip in. It takes a little bit of fidgeting (it is a bit of a tight fit), but it will go in and stay secure for the most part. Quote
commodore_legolas Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 Nice job, looks good! Very interesting... Maybe they will release a Wolverine set based on the movie soon :) I don't think so. The movie comes out on the 26th of July, so Lego would have released them already, seeing how they release sets a few months before the film comes out. But yes, I would love to see more XM sets.
