Brickdoctor Posted July 4, 2013 Posted July 4, 2013 Ah, I didn't know that. Sounds like a great resource. What about the width? I don't have as good a view of the studio model as you do, but 4-wide still seems too wide. (Of course, 3-wide is a considerably harder width to work with than 4-wide...) Quote
mortesv Posted July 4, 2013 Posted July 4, 2013 The top of the spine is 5 wide, the bridge is a bit narrower, but as far as I remember 3 would be too narrow, and yes 4 is so much better to work with :) Quote
ISDAvenger Posted July 4, 2013 Posted July 4, 2013 If you do not have the blue ray, there is Lorne Petersons book "Sculpting the Universe". Not sure how good the pictures are, but I know the ship has a few page spread. Not to insult anyones intelligence, but I have found, if you find the actual height, width, and length of a Star Wars ship, you can convert those dimensions from an actual scale to a Lego scale of your choice. Or I have used pictures of a flush frontal, side, rear, top, and bottom of the ship and use those to base my scale off of. Although it can be a challange in getting such pictures, as I have discovered. Sometimes SWAG has to be implemented. Quote
