Infernum Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Sir Infernum, the warriors of Arcium, and the warriors of Rascliff Castle trek to Proudrock Fortress, where they are besieged by the Hand. Sir Infernum, the lord of Rascliff Castle, and a ranger watch the battle from the tower, while warriors man the crossbows. The Hand charges the door. Charge! Love this pic! Bad interior shot. Really like the table thing with bows and quiver. Lower level. Block the door! Note the door. Figless. I like it better like this. Wall. Love the damaged parts. Tree-less? I really love how this turned out. I think it shows how much I've improved as a builder over the last few months. Hope you like it! Quote
TenorPenny Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 There are some really nice touches. Well done..! Quote

TheLegoDr Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Great build. I like the overall wall effect, including the broken bits. The trees are a nice interesting design. I should copy that sometime. Nice little scene with some story involved. Keep up the good work! Quote
kabel Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 (edited) dude, this is epic and your quickly becoming better and better! I think I have to make sure that you don't push me from third place in terms of mocs produced for Mitgardia! Edited June 27, 2013 by kabel Quote
Legopast Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Love the doors! some great details in there great battle damage! Are the upside down cheese slopes held on with the blue technic pin to stud parts? Quote

Love the doors! some great details in there great battle damage! Are the upside down cheese slopes held on with the blue technic pin to stud parts? Thanks! Yep, that's exactly what I did. The pin part of the technic piece can be pushed into the underside of a brick. Quote
-Carson Haupt- Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 The ground is really great! It is an important but often overlooked part of a Moc. Quote
Gideon Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Nice wall design, I like how you have relied on texture rather than different colors. Often mottling too much with colors can make the shape of the structure hard to make out in pictures, but this way it is very clear but still "alive". As you point out, you have really improved here! Keep it up! Quote
Wedge09 Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Really nice work  I like to see the striped bricks next to the new bricks with masonry profile, the doors are great Quote

Really nice work  I like to see the striped bricks next to the new bricks with masonry profile, the doors are great Thanks! I also love that combination. Quote
Mike S Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Nice! I like the first photo because the fadedness makes it look like the dust of battle. Quote

soccerkid6 Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Keep it up Infernum, you just keep getting better! I love the landscape you did to set off the castle, as I've said before those trees look great and I like the texture of the path Excellent battle scene, lots of action (and dark red capes ). Great to see an interior, the bow/quiver rack did indeed turn out well Why is the lady wearing a dress for battle in the first floor right in front of the doors? Quote
Garmadon Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Nice tower, Infernum! The table with the bow and quivers looks very good (as others have said). I like the texture on the fortress too, and (of course) I like those doors Quote

Ha, ha, those capes were an awesome deal. Erg... That "lady" was supposed to be a statue the guy is pushing to block the door. . And to those wondering, no Mitgardians do NOT wear dresses, I just didn't have light bley legs. Nice tower, Infernum! The table with the bow and quivers looks very good (as others have said). I like the texture on the fortress too, and (of course) I like those doors Thanks Garmadon! Quote
Alfadas Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 I can't see the pics? Anyone else has the same problem? When I click on them, I get this: Not Found The requested URL /gallery/Infernum/Proudrock/dscn0106.jpg was not found on this server. Yooha Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 I don't see the pictures either. Only a red "X" and a "Posted Image" where the pictures supposed to be. Quote

SkaForHire Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Yeah, I finally got a chance to sit down and comment on this wonderful MOC and there were no more pictures!!! Will do when they come back up again. Quote
Dragonfire Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 This is really cool! I love the shot of the Hand soldier climbing the wall and getting shot by the archers. Just one question: did the helmets and cloaks of some of the Hand soldiers come from Roman Commanders? Quote

Did you just now see the pictures? I think Brickshelf is still down... Quote
Alfadas Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 Now I can see the pics, and I have to say I really like it! The figs are amazing and the details are stunning. Hope to see more MOCs from you! Quote
Maxim I Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 I love how many action is going on in this MOC! Also good job on the castle! Quote

Now that you point it out it makes perfect sense, if I had been able to see the head of the statue in the pictures it probably would have been more apparent. Nice detail Quote
