bacem Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 ok, so this is my attempt to remake Xplode using HF 2.0 parts. another shot, showing him using breakout shooter instead of the old one. back shot. and, just in case anyone want it, this is the LXF file. C&C appreciated. Quote
Chro Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 I quite like how you did the spiked back plating. Quote
Zachattacx Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Still better than Xplode. I also love the spiked back. NPU of the mace halves to represent more spikes! Great job Quote
DraikNova Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 I like the back armor, but the lower arms and the legs seem a little simple. Quote
bacem Posted June 27, 2013 Author Posted June 27, 2013 I like the back armor, but the lower arms and the legs seem a little simple. for the arms, when i see the original Xplode, his lower arms seems to be bare. that's why i didn't put any armor for the lower arms. for the lower legs, i have no excuse . Cirkit Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 I like what you've done with this version of Xplode. The spikes on the back I enjoy in particular. Nice use of the Savage Planet 'paw' part. I would think, though, that maybe the Exo-Force arms with the same sort of spikes as on the club and lower back would work better here, maybe with the spikes themselves in yellow, to match the original Xplode? Also, I see what you did with the spiky ball parts. More spikes, less pieces. Me like. Can't believe you built the club completely in the HF system pieces. It looks just right in terms of size and shape, though again, I think some of the spikes could benefit from being yellow instead of red, to match the look of the original tool and all. And I like the choice you made for the lower leg armor. Kind of looks like the old shin armor from the original Xplode. I like this a lot, really I do. Nice work :) Quote
Infernum Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 I quite like how you did the spiked back plating. Me too! This looks great! Looks very much like something TLG could do! Nice work. Quote
ShadowWolfHount Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 This is really good, like the back, the leg and arm and easy and good. The weapon are really odd, the Spiked Club is not that good but i do like what you used for the Explosive Spikes. Quote
Mephek Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 Really cool for something so simple. Shows the potential of the 2.0 build. Unique looking models, not too complicated Quote
