Only Sinner Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Fantastic ship! I like the lines and color, plus the moving features. Very nice, indeed! Quote
Henchmen4Hire Posted June 28, 2013 Author Posted June 28, 2013 (edited) Thankssss folksssss! The engines are particularly well done. I was spazzing out over how to get them the right size and shape, in the end I just gave up and used the current design and am pretty happy with it lol Unfortunately I'm pretty sure this thing will be expensive to buy simply because I'd need to buy all new white bricks. I've had horrible luck buying used white, they're usually discolored and ugly. I get a sweet 40% discount at BL store I help run, but someone bought most of the white parts I needed! Such lousy timing... who knows when we'll get a haul of clean white again. Also, please consider donating a dollar or two to my paypal if you want the LDD file for this build, it'll go towards bills, and- nah, it'll go towards building my own lol. Legopast Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 What a load of SNOT! I can't get my head around some of the angles and upside down bricks in this. Overall it makes for a very sleek complicated shape which is very pleasing and sci-fi. Very true to the source material too Love the sandwiched engines! Quote
Henchmen4Hire Posted June 28, 2013 Author Posted June 28, 2013 Yep! And despite the zany angles it's still a simple straightforward build (well, I consider flipping hinge plates 180 degrees to build upside-down straightforward anyway lol). There are a few technic bricks/pins in there to help keep it sturdy. The WIPs on my Flickr should help anyone reverse-engineer this flying tank shark thing (but please consider donating! ) Quote
