MrBrickson Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 (edited) There are a whole lot of sets they could make like the battle with Indy and the Gold Crown Guy,Marion's Home,The place where they opened the ark etc.......? What do you think? Edited June 25, 2013 by MrBrickson
Scubacarrot Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 The problem is that they would have nothing to tie it in with. Last time there was Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull, which caused for a resurgence in Indy's popularity. To just bring out an Indiana Jones theme out of the blue would not make much sense. There are a lot of sets they could still bring out, I agree, but I don't think it's going to happen if they do not bring out another movie. Also, keep in mind that since then the rights have changed into the hands of Disney, while it's Paramount that decides if another movie comes out, so that could potentially be another problem if they WOULD make another movie.

Leo604 Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 Disney Ruins everything ! Why Must my childhood go in the hands who will Ruin Star Wars? It's kind of unfair to see that since you don't know for sure the new trilogy's gonna be bad. For one, JJ Abrams is a great director.
Haltiamieli Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 Besides, there's not much to ruin in Star Wars franchise anymore, Lucas himself has seen to that. But yeah, we won't see any more Lego Indy unless there's a new movie or something. That's the fate of licence themes.
TheLegoDr Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 Like others have said, probably won't see any more sets unless they release another movie. However, even if they do release a new movie, LEGO may not acquire the rights to produce more themes. It will depend on how popular the last release was and how much hype the new movie will cause. It seems a lot of fans didn't exactly enjoy the last movie. I saw it in theater, but I don't remember much about it, but I loved the first three as a kid. I think a lot of fans are like that. So, they may not produce sets if there isn't market research showing people will buy the sets. More than likely I would still buy the sets since I missed out on the last release, but I don't know if it will happen. At least with Pirates, they will be releasing another movie for sure, so they will have sets for that. How could they not?
