HoM: Signal 4.0

Signal was once the scouting expert on Hero Factory Trion Team. On a routine scouting mission, he ended up discovering a small creature. He approached the creature, only for it to attack him and attach to him, turning him into a nearly mindless mutation. When his team came looking for him, they discovered a large-armed version of the mech they called "friend". His speech control only allows him to say one phrase now: "Help... me..."

The original plan for this MOC was for the tip of the slug's tail to attach to one of the two peg holes where the core is attached.

I wanted to retain the HF style of building, while introducing some Bionicle parts to the mix. This ended up only applying to the legs and the larger arm.

I plan on creating more members of Trion team. So for now, enjoy a picture of Signal attacking Bulk, Surge, and a custom Exo-Suit. Feedback and constructive criticism are appreciated!

Edit: Version 2. Replaced all Gunmetal and Silver with Black and Clear Orange. Also slightly taller.

Neat idea, but I feel like there's a little too much going on with the build... maybe try cleaning up the color scheme (get rid of silver and gunmetal, et cetera).

I like the idea you got here,looks like has been engulfed in flames from the brain.

Like Chro I thinks there is too much going on,I for one don't considerly like the shin armor.

I also don't like the silver/gunmetal color scheme.

But that being said it is still a great moc.

I'm working on a better color scheme right now. All of the silver and gunmetal are being exchanged for black or clear orange.

I'd replace some of the red with either orange or black, too. But it's a relatively good MOC, if a little over-the-top.

It's definitely pretty cluttered, but the edit has done a good job of cutting down on the color scheme, which was the most distracting. Use the claw as a base; the cladding makes it much more efficient overall. The BIONICLE pieces have a lot of sticking out bits, and the Malum claws are a prime example of this. Raanu's helmet works for what you're doing, but the Piraka feet as shins don't mesh.
