Hello guys :sweet: I present to you my latest MOC, a dakar rally truck.

Basically I made a quick chassis with full suspension, and then added a very simple and light-weight body to it.

There's an XL motor geared up 3:1 and then an M Motor powering return-to-center steering.

It has front independent suspension and rear I have-no-clue-what-it's-called suspension  (please tell me, it'd be greatly appreciated :classic:)

Speed and performance is good, it has just enough torque to get up to speed, so as it doesn't have a differential, it does lose speed in the corners, but this isn't really much of an issue.

I know this is a very simple MOC, I think I'm going to try a slightly more complex one for my next MOC, probably a construction vehicle. suggestions are welcome :classic:

Were is the rest of the cab?

What is so hard about adding a seat, steering wheel and some doors?..... :sadnew:

2 reasons:

  • Weight
  • Parts - This is basically all the blue parts I have

This is in that search, along with many like it  but yeah you are right, naming my creations isn't my forte :grin: especially when I haven't really based them on anything

Nice rally truck, I expected it to go faster though. Maybe some R/C motors? The suspension in the rear is called trailing arm suspension BTW. Also, how did you get the slight camber on the front suspension? Are the pieces already like that?

I'd much prefer to use RC buggy motors, but I unfortunately don't have any :hmpf_bad: and the pieces just went like that I suppose, it's the normal front independent suspension setup :classic:

I love those tires! I hardly ever see them used.

I thought that it was inspired by the blue 4wd from 2003

Nice jeep

Thanks for the kind words :classic: I suppose it looks a bit like the blue off roader (8435) as I got the blue pieces, front suspension, and wheels all from that set
