d-delay Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 Such gorgeous buildings Kristel. When I catch up with the official Modulars I will definitely be coveting some of your work... although I am concerned yours will make some of the others seem slightly dull ;)
TheLegoDr Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 Thank you for releasing them! I always love your builds. I like the techniques used to add in some detailing. Best of luck on selling some of them. People will have lovely cities when they are done with them.
Kristel Posted July 12, 2013 Author Posted July 12, 2013 Thanks d-delay and LegoDr! Kristel, I understand your dreams for your bucket list! ... And we know that EB 20134 is next May in Billund. Maybe you can barter for frequent flyer miles....guess it is time to get creative in travel, too! Good Luck!!! The "Help me get to Billund 2014" Sale! I'm currently having a sale on the instructions for the Tan Townhouse, Coveted Clutch and Psychiatrist's Office. Until the 21st July (or maybe longer), get 10% off when you buy any two instructions or 15% off if you buy all three instructions in one transaction. Thanks for looking!
Legogal Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 Kristel, You got creative pretty fast from the looks of this post! Way to go, woman! Love the name of your sale! Those are wonderful builds, so the plans should sell well. Cheers!
Withacee Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 Got them all, a few months back! Coveted Clutch is up first. Keep it up, Kristel. Love your builds.
Kristel Posted July 30, 2013 Author Posted July 30, 2013 Thanks Withacae! Would love to hear how you go with the builds. Any and all feedback is appreciated. Thanks, too, Legogal. At this stage though I'm still looking at selling a kidney to fund the trip to Billund next year! Â
PsyKater Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 (edited) Shame, I didn't see this earlier. I'd love to add cool and famous MOCs to my city. But I think I have to decide what house(s) I choose ("Spend wisely..."). edit: I just realized that it is AU$. This makes it much more affordable Edited August 2, 2013 by PsyKater
PsyKater Posted August 9, 2013 Posted August 9, 2013 Sorry for DP, but I just had a look in the instructions I bought and I have to say: They are just great! So many explanations and detail pictures. You had a lot of effort! The instructions are worth every penny. You should advertise them a little in your signature, I bet many Modular-Fans would love to have them! Best wishes!
Legogal Posted August 9, 2013 Posted August 9, 2013 Kristen, I am very excited about the sale of your plans on BL! Please keep both of your kidneys because someone in your family might need one!! ( I considered selling one, too, when I was a single mom for eight years and trying to buy every LEGO made for my little guy to build! I ended up searching every Walmart in the state for after Christmas markdowns up to 80 per cent! Those were the "good" old days!) Oops! My iPad can't can't resist misspelling every different word out there...drives me crazy. We all know it is Kristel, but Mr. iPad does not like your name! Aarghhhh!

'Kristel' is an unusual spelling everywhere except for Belgium (where I was born), so I am used to getting all sorts of variations! It won't come to selling my kidneys - there are other little luxuries I'll give up before I do that! Your story reminds me of my uni days, when I had a thousand and one ways of having sausages and mince because that was the only meat we could afford! Note to all the younger readers: Don't get married while still studying at uni, no matter how much you are in love. Live with, and sponge off, your parents as long as you can!
Kristel Posted February 23, 2014 Author Posted February 23, 2014 PS. Don't forget that there are some freebies on my blog too, including the instructions for the White Picket Fences.
