RednWhite Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 It is Father's Day here in the UK. For all the chaps out there with children a chance to relax, receive some wacky socks or tie from your kids and indulge in too much food and drink. I had a lovely surprise from my kids this morning - they had bought me the 40054 summer polybag which we all built before a big fry-up breakfast. The perfect start to the day - Lego and unhealthy fried stuff. Has anyone else had a nice Lego surprise this morning? Perhaps adult children have indulged their fathers with expensive new sets or young kids have build their dads bespoke gifts. Let us know what you have received. Quote
Paul B Technic Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 Lucky you. I hope to get these sort of gifts when I have kids. Quote
Luke_likes_Lego Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 Nice one! FD not 'til September here in Aus...but I might show my wife your post closer to the day as a not so subtle hint LLL Quote
N-4K0 Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 I don't remember when Father's Day is in Norway, but I think sometimes in November. Mother's Day is in February though. The Lego sand castle looks funny quite detailed and cool looking for the apparent size. Quote
naf Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 My family surprised me with the 9492 TIE Fighter to go with the 9493 X-Wing they got me for my birthday. It's the perfect present, I get to have a great time building it with the kids, and I get another cool decoration for my office! Quote
