Hello Eurobrickspeople,

After building several of the Lego modulars, time has come to create my own!

So I actually don't have any experience yet, but you have to start somewhere.

No Lego city is complete without a police station, so I gave it a try. I had lots of white bricks too, so that made the choice too in that direction.

Because I needed some inspiration, I've used the Pet Shop as starting point. The first floor is roughly based on that model.

The building is 95% complete. Here and there some bricks are missing and in the future I can always improve the facade and interiors.

The last time I've been spoiled with amazing mocs, in particular the one from Castor-Troy. My Police office seems nothing against his masterpiece.

So please be kind with your comments, but some advice and ideas are more than welcome too!

At the moment I'm figuring out how to put images here on the forum, in the meantime I'll give you the link to my never-used-before Flickr account:

Very nice modular 'Brickyboy', now I'm not sure about that shield about the doorway, no basin to wash ones hands after being in the toilet...plus man, if you need to go in a hurry from the top floor....ouch, you gotta hold on !

Brick On 'Brickyboy' !

This is great! I love the facade on this building, the bust in the windows and the CCTV. The floor with the cells is my favourite, with the middle floor a close second.

Fantastic building you have made there! I'm not a fan of police stations at the moment but this one is great! I love the second floor with what appears to be the forensic/evidence area, it looks great with all the different bits and pieces going on there!! And the cats on the roof are a great touch :classic:

Happy building

Woah -that is a very good first try, if you ask me! I really like how you have broken up the facade, and your use of different windows works well too. Brick on!

Hi Tiger,

Thanks for your comment! The shield above the doorway is a temporary solution. I'm going to chance it for another in a better colour that fits with the building. Or should I do something else?

You're right too about the toilet. But space is limited. Then I probably have to give up a cell...

I only see a black square on my iPad... again. Please, everyone, don't just embed that Flickr slideshow with its outdated Flash thing, add at least a link to the photo set (and maybe one big photo directly)...

Hi BrickyBoy,

as you, I am new to "mocing" and I think your first attempt is more than I would excpect from a begginer  Very nice work indeed, I would like it in my city!

The things I like is the facade and the different level of the staircase, also the towerish top that contrastst withe the flat roof. The tiled floor and "library" are really nice too. The camera and the "sculpture" inside add nice details to the building, very well done!

One comment, I don't particularly like the big windows that look too much like the usual police sets windows, but in the meantime, i have no alternative solution and the building lookks great anyway!

Thanks for sharing, looking forward to your future builds!
