It's a new genre of LEGO art. Photo story. AFOLs in Russia likes this genre, I don't know about you. So, let's start! Prologue Forge World of Sara, Ultima Segmentum Year 813.M41 The alien invasion began insensibly... But then their numbers increased... Tyranids. The Great Devourer, the intergalactic locust. Imperial Guardsman: For the Emperor and the Imperium of Man! Turmoil on the battlefield, dust in the air. Imperial Guardsman: OH MY EMPEROR, THERE ARE TOO MANY 'NIDS!!!! THEY'VE INFILTRATED THE BUNKER!!!!! WHERE ARE OUR EVAC SHIPS??? But there is no place for cowardice in the Imperium of Man. Commissar: The deserters deserve no mercy! He raised his laspistol and shot the scared Guardsman in his back. Small Tyranids were accompanied by Raveners, the giant beasts coming out from the ground. Ravener: Hello, I'm your aunt SKREEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!! The wall of the bunker was covered with little Tyranids known as Hormagaunts. Kekekeke It seemed that nothing can save the humans on this planet. But suddenly a red mist filled the battlefield, and all the combatants - humans and Tyranids - disappeared in it... Meanwhile in the underground headquarters of Lord General at other end of the planet. Adjutant: Well, Sir. I have two news - good and bad. General: Speak, Marcus. Adjutant: The good one is that the unifentified energy wave has exterminated all Tyranids on the planet. General: Oh, bless the Emperor! We have almost lost our hope! And what's about bad news? Adjutant: This wave has killed all of our troops. We've been saved only by a psychic shield surrounding this bunker. General: In the name of the Emperor, what's happening here? Cloaked man: Perhaps I can explain. A group of people entered the bunker. They looked like pirates, bandits or heretics and were lead by a man in a top hat and black cloak. Cloaked man: I've killed all of them with my Glove of Blood Daemon. The Blood God needs some skulls for his throne. General: What's... Who are you?... Die! Lord General shot the intruder with his laspistol but the laser beam was refracted and missed the target. Cloaked man: I think you cannot kill me so simply. I have a nice thing, a refractor field given to me by your Inquisition. And now I'll kill you, the so-called "Lord General" of the false Emperor! The cloaked man raised his hand in a red glowing glove. But something went wrong... Cloaked man: It's... impossible!!! It doesn't work! Oh Khorne, you left me! WHAT IS THIS??? GUNSLINGER, SHOOT HIM DOWN!!! The Imperial Guard General unsheathed his power sword. General: FOR TEH EMPRAH THE EMPEROR!!! But the General was shot by one of the cloaked heretic's henchmen, the cyborg with a cannon which replaced his right arm. Cloaked man: It's much better now. I need more souls but the glove had only one charge. Steiner, look through local databases. Maybe I can find something that can kill the population of the whole planet with a single blast in this sector. Steiner: Yes, my lord! And somewhere in space, there was a ship carrying the new hope of humanity... Thank you for watching. To be continued... Quote

Si-MOCs Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 Interesting story... Though I was always a Chaos guy.... I think the whole MOC telling story is cool, but some of your pictures are a bit out of focus. I know you're trying to do the cool dark light trick, but sometimes it's simpler (and sharper!) to take a regular picture and change the brightness/contrast in photoshop....
