Legofin2012 Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 (edited) Port Teridyan is a rather warm part of Mitgardia, thanks to a large underwater volcano with lava pouring out around the summer, but stops in the winter. agent declartion page 2 017 by Legofin2012, on Flickr Rear: agent declartion page 2 016 by Legofin2012, on Flickr And yes, that is my, drunken, wizard friend... Maxim I Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 Great MOC! I love both the front (really good!) and the rear (very funny!) Quote
Legofin2012 Posted June 5, 2013 Author Posted June 5, 2013 Thanks, there will be a story with my Sig-fig, and the wizard and monkey, in. Quote
soccerkid6 Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 Nice dock and boat Does the crank on the back actually work the portcullis? I think actually having a structure for the portcullis to go up into would improve the MOC Quote
Legofin2012 Posted June 5, 2013 Author Posted June 5, 2013 Thanks, at the moment the crank doesn't work, but have found a way to do so, and yes I guess a structure would look better, will try it! Quote
kabel Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 @legofin: I always see a quite a few good ideas in you mocs, but maybe it's time for you to slow down a bit and put more of your ideas into One really good moc instead of doing one moc per idea. I'm sure your skills will improve much faster that way! So take your time, no reason to hurry right now! Quote
Legofin2012 Posted June 6, 2013 Author Posted June 6, 2013 I know, I'd really love to build an amazing massive castle/fort thing, but for now with my collection it's not going to happen . Although I am working on something for the master architect challenge that might be a bit bigger and all that... Quote
Gideon Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 I like the water and the boat the most in this MOC. The wall is ok, but I think the mix of colors is a bit to agressive. When it comes to mottling I think "less is more" to make it believable. Quote
Legofin2012 Posted June 7, 2013 Author Posted June 7, 2013 Thanks, and the mix of gray is mostly because I don't have the bricks to do it in one color, have been looking for some gray pieces on the net... Quote
Ecclesiastes Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 As said by others the boat is really neat, especially with the Mitgardian colors on it. Also great posing, the wizard looks really (happy)drunk. Does the gaet actually work, because I'm seeing gears? Quote
Legofin2012 Posted June 24, 2013 Author Posted June 24, 2013 Thanks, at the moment when I took the photo, it didn't, but it does now. Quote
