korpen4444 Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 Hi guys! just wanted to tell you all about my latest cuusoo project. Star Wars Battle at Point Rain Battle Pack, http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/41421 check it out and support perhaps! Quote
Pandora Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 Hello korpen4444, we really love it when people post their MOCs to the forum, but it's really not great when people just post to advertise their CUUSOO projects. We would much prefer it it if you posted a MOC topic for your build, and you may find you get some useful, or possibly just uplifting, feedback from members here about your MOC and thus your project. A link to your project at the end of a post about your MOC is acceptable. If in doubt, please check the site guidelines, a link to which is in my signature. For now, I'm going to close this. Feel free to PM me if you'd like to reopen it as a topic about your actual MOC. EDIT: Reopened for korpen4444 to post his MOC. Quote
korpen4444 Posted June 5, 2013 Author Posted June 5, 2013 http://us.starwars.lego.com/en-us/Creations/ShowMedia.aspx?id=cbfa1694-a186-4cc3-bd7b-303f6ad46cbf&width=800&height=483 Here we see 3 of the minifigs that would be included in the set, and three of the builds. As you can see, we have a Desert ARF trooper, a sonic trooper (best i could do on LDD) and a Geonosian(with wings and a blaster), another fig included is a Battle droid(using legacy sand red parts, with a cool yellow(blonde) torso.) who has a spare straight arm and a pistol. Builds are: Geonosian gun emplacement, Republic Turret, Geonosis deco BARC speeder, and a geonosis deco STAP. http://us.starwars.lego.com/en-us/Creations/ShowMedia.aspx?id=930ff95e-8a6a-46ba-ac80-6129ecd34bb6&width=800&height=483 A shot I took for the speeder actually (i failed that objective). http://us.starwars.lego.com/en-us/Creations/ShowMedia.aspx?id=10adfe2f-497c-418a-98f0-53fdc4c8df03&width=800&height=483 A picture of the STAP. Updates coming when feedback arrives. PS: refer to link in first post for the project page. Comments and constructive criticism welcome! Quote
Faefrost Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 My only suggestion is that you not use those horrid LDD backgrounds when generating pictures for presentation. They distract and overwhelm the projects, and almost guarantee that it will be glanced over by a good number of people browsing CuuSoo. Either pull the pictures from the build screen where you get a nice clean white background, or loop the build through LDD2POV to generate a nice rendered image. Quote
