Clone wars season 3 airdates in the UK

Dont know if anyone else has seen this but its good news for us in the UK:

Toonami in the UK has started airing a commercial for the 3rd season of the Clone Wars cartoon, which is being advertised as Volume 2. The ad is in the style of the Star Wars opening crawl, with the Star Wars fanfare playing. The text reads:

Coming soon to a channel not far, far away....

Volume 2:

THE BEGINNING OF THE END

According to DigiGuide, Season 3, aka Volume 2, is set to air in the UK at the following times:

March 21st-24th: 8am, 4pm & 6pm

March 25th: 5.30pm

March 26-27th: 10am

March 28th-31st: 8am, 11am, 4pm & 6pm

Seasons 1 and 2 will also be repeated at the following times:

March 1st-6th: 4pm & 5.25pm

March 7th-20th: 4pm & 6pm

Thanks for the clarification. I was trying to figure out what season 2 was because on the first DVD it has all 20 shorts from what I thought was season 1, but the way your post reads that was season 1 & 2 and now 3 is about to start. Do you have a link regaurding season 3.

No link as such, the info that i posted was found on theforce.net. Ive read a few bits and bobs about what to expect in the 3rd season but thats about it as they seem to be keeping it all very hush hush.

You are correct season 1 and 2 are on the dvd, but for some reasonthey are calling the dvd season 1.

has anyone heard when the dvd is coming out in the uk. i know the states gets it soon but i have not seen anything on a uk release date.

According to UK Previews (the comic ordering catalouge shops use) some time in March.

It doesn't say an exact date.

amazon uk have finaly put up a release date for this dvd and it's not untill may 9th. :(
