Viriathu Posted May 26, 2013 Posted May 26, 2013 (edited) Hello all, first let me say this is one amazing forum with some of the most amazing Lego builds i ever saw. I dont know where to post this because im new, didnt even had the time to upload an avatar pic :) so, i tried here, if this was not the correct subforum my appologies. With this, i would like some info if possible; Well, i know this is kinda stupid to ask since i have an slight ideia but what is a MOC? (EDIT) Want to know what is a CUUSOO is also lol I always loved Lego, started very young and got hooked to the castle theme and a bit later wen the first sets were out, the pirates theme. So if i wanted to post something i built, and if is in the correct forum can i do it? I think i need to buy some more Lego in the next event, for me its a good way to find Lego fans selling tons of rare pieces, sets and all the cool stuff before i try to make something worth posting :) Thanks for your time, i will see you around. splatman Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Hi! MOC stands for My Own Creation. CUUSOO is the LEGO Co.'s crowd-sourcing website. Cuusoo is Japanese for Wish. This is the place for new members to introduce themselves. An admin will probably move this thread shortly. Splatman Quote
BrickG Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Honesty I've been doing this for a while and while I know what the abbreviations mean I never bothered learning what they stood for. Been using MOC for years without knowing it's non-abbreviated form. :) As for buying more Lego... just use Bricklink or Ebay. I don't buy at events because the prices are insane. Ebaying some good USED legos often gives me a lot of bang for my buck that rarely has more than a few hairs and bandaids in it. That and Bricklink. Quote
Viriathu Posted May 27, 2013 Author Posted May 27, 2013 ooh... well then my name is Sérgio, 35 yo and i love Lego and "play" with it more than 25 years :) Sadly my huge Lego collection got a bit lost over the years, now i only have around 15kg of Legos in 3 big boxes, nothing, most are from different themes and i cant make huge creations. Lost most of my minifigs. I'm rebuilding my Lego numbers for a while now but still need tons and tons of pieces to make an amazing creation like i saw in this forum, i hope i get there one day. For those who replyed thanks alot. Quote
