TheLET Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 Recently I finished me latest MOC a medieval water well. I had this idea for a MOC for some time now but now I had finally the time to finish it. I have tried to make the well as round as possible. The main difficulty was the roof since. I didnt wanted to use to much large parts in the roof, since these parts made the well too smooth looking. It was not intended to be funtional, but still the haul mechanisme really works. More pictures are on brickshelf (when public) Comments and feedback is appreciated Quote
soccerkid6 Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 Superb well design! Is the bottom section of the well actually connected? I really like the shingled roof effect Quote
Soul4ger Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 Very nice build. My only issue is, I can't imagine anyone in a medieval village spending a substantial amount of time building so elaborate a roof for their well... But I'm hardly a well historian. It certainly LOOKS really good! :) Quote
Trance89 Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 (edited) I think this might be the best well I've seen yet. The stone work and the bottom half of the roof look great. I also like the use of different colors. Edited May 26, 2013 by Trance89 Quote

Silver.Smith Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 This well is spectacular. I like how you accomplished making the stones look round at the base yet have a nice texture. Quote
Sered Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 The well is amazing, is the best that I've ever seen. I would like to see how you connect the bottom with ground Quote
