Nazgarot Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 (edited) This is shaping up very good. It seems even better than your RPA 15. What scale is it (I can see from the first post that you are scaling it for 1:30, but is that accurate for all details as well)? It seems fairly close to minifig, but I can't make it work with a few details like the searchlight on top of the cockpit cabine... -ED- Edited June 14, 2013 by Nazgarot Quote

Minifig is at 1 to 44 scale and i have build mine first 2 ships in that sice, but give me to much problems with the liftarms to put the right details on it. the 1 to30 scale is much better to work in. Edwin Korstanje Posted June 19, 2013 Author Posted June 19, 2013 (edited) Really impressive work Thanks @ Error404, I have brake down almost the complete backwall to add some PF on the big winch, also make some PF lights to it and works now great. Later on some video from the working winch. The progress is now step by step and there are so many parts and details to go in it, but that was challence for building this ship, only the main deck whas more easy than the RPA 15. Hopefuly you like the Progress. Gr Edwin Edited June 19, 2013 by VFracingteam Quote
Alasdair Ryan Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 You should be able to build a PF switch quite easily into the details of the boat, instead of running the power straight from the battery box. Quote
Edwin Korstanje Posted June 19, 2013 Author Posted June 19, 2013 The control off the winch is taken frome the remote train control. Not straight from the battery box Quote
legomuppet9 Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Great work thus far The scale is really impressive as I've probably already said... wish i had the parts to build a boat as beautiful as this Quote
Edwin Korstanje Posted June 23, 2013 Author Posted June 23, 2013 Thanks for the great reactions so far and made some progress this week. The back cabine is now in building and this week i get mine last liftarms in house to close the bow and build the higher deck complete. Greets Edwin. Quote

Edwin Korstanje Posted June 23, 2013 Author Posted June 23, 2013 Off corse Alasdair, must come in from BL Quote
Alasdair Ryan Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 Is the charterer's office not normally in the wheel house? Quote
Edwin Korstanje Posted June 23, 2013 Author Posted June 23, 2013 (edited) Normal it is, but in this ship not. See photo from the forecastle deck. I think, because i don't have seen this ship in real. he have his own office and can work from his office and also from the wheel house. Edited June 23, 2013 by VFracingteam Quote
